Duende is a pure 46’ Fast Cruiser, an extremely sophisticated craft in design and construction terms, with high-performance under sail, easy to handle with a small crew and with cosy furnishings designed with a warm style. The hull has been optimised for top performance and features light-middle displacement, a high stability ratio and sleek bow lines to guarantee the best possible passage over the waves and comfortable sailing. The hull and deck are completely made in carbon, from male moulds. The deck plan is fully automated, with hydraulic control of the mainsheet, electrical retracting halyards, winches and electrical furlers. The particular feature of this design project is the mast placed directly on the deck; it rests on a special “arched” bulkhead carbon, without a mainstay below deck, which means it takes up none of the interior. The vessel has two large cabins and two bathrooms, with a symmetrical division of space. The style is very warm, with natural teak and composite material furnishings. The bow area has a bathroom and a double cabin with twin beds and double wardrobes. The dinette has two large “half-moon” sofas to seat a total of six. The galley has a sink, fridge and cook top. Opposite the galley is the chart table with lowered top for a laptop computer. Behind the chart area is a bathroom with double doors, which serves both the dinette as a guest bathroom and the master cabin. In the stern area is a large master cabin with double bed, and access through an area with wardrobe and opposite, the bathroom.
