650ANZ has been designed as an evolution of the Minitransat 6.50m shorthanded offshore racing boat. It has been specifically configured for the Australian and New Zealand environment, with the particular requirements of sailing in the Pacific in mind.
It is an innovative solution that fills a gap in the current Australian fleet. One of the most revolutionary features of the design is its capacity to use the same HULL to rig 3 easily interchangeable KITS to become a SHORTHANDED OFFSHORE RACING BOAT, a 21.5ft SKIFF or an inshore race SPORTS BOAT.
