Project

The Riviera 80 has been born as a custom project created for a customer of Astillero Riviera, one of the most prestigious Motor Yacht builders in Argentina. As a result of GYD relation with the yard, having designed its 55HT, we have been asked to provide the preliminary design for this project. The Riviera 80 hull has been acquired from an existing hull and our work involved developing the superstructure and interior arrangement according to strict guide lines given by the client and the yard. All this initial work has been used as solid ground for the development of the complete project.

Construction

The boat is currently being build and its expected launch is in 2013 as it has developed from a custom project to a series production vessel. The chosen materials are e-glass and polyester resin with sandwich core superstructure.
